The Journal of Ferrari History

Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Cavallino is the only publication that prints the serial number for every Ferrari mentioned in our stories, articles, and race results.

Once again, this renowned Concorso d'Eleganza was held at the marvellous Grand Hotel Villa d'Este, in Cernobbio on Lake Como, Italy. The magnificent tradition of the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza, whose heyday was between 1929 and 1949, lives unaltered in this modern revival.

The Ferrari Club of America held its Annual Meet at Sebring fro 2003, and it proved a popular choice, with over 225 Ferraris signed up for the track portion alone. For many, it was a rare chance to drive on this fabled course, the scene of so many Ferrari victories at the 12 Hour endurance contest.

This was the 21st edition of the great Mille Miglia Historica, the most enthralling long distance race for classic sports cars, Ferraris included, and it took place on May 22-25 of 2003. A record number of classic cars, 375 in all, were at the starting line, representing 58 automobile brands, and coming from 19 different countries.
